Overview:
We are currently seeking a part time Garden Associate to join our team in maintaining and enhancing our beautiful gardens .We work in private gardens and community residential areas around The Wandsworth Common/Clapham/Balham area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and be practical, with a keen eye for detail.
In return we can provide you with experience in planting, plant identification, pruning, basic garden construction, design and soft landscaping.
Responsibilities:
- Perform garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and watering
- Assist in the growing and nurturing of plants, flowers, and trees
- Operate simple electric power tools and hand tools for garden maintenance
- the garden's appearance
Skills:
- Proficiency in doing and learning garden maintenance techniques
- Some knowledge of plant care and growing practices
- Experience and or want to learn in using power tools and hand tools for gardening tasks
- A clean driving licence would be essential to sometimes complete simple tasks on your own
Applicant must be smartly turned out presentable and confident amongst clients.
