Your role will include
Maintenance:
- Working closely with the Maintenance Manager or nominated colleague to make sure that our residents live in a place that is safe and well maintained at all times
- Ensuring that regular safety checks and servicing is carried out on all equipment and accurate records are kept.
- Having excellent communication with the Home Manager and also the Residents
- Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance
- Clearing and Cleaning general areas
- Assembling furniture
- Painting and decorating
Gardening:
- General horticultural maintenance duties using hand tools and mechanical horticultural appliances.
- Sweep, litter pick and empty exterior bins.
- Hedge cutting
- Grass mowing
- Safe use of fertilizers/any required pesticides etc.
This position will require on call duties
You must have excellent communication skills with Manager's, Colleagues, Residents and Visitors to the Home.
