Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves working with various hand tools and power tools, as well as managing irrigation systems to ensure the health and beauty of our gardens. The Gardener will play a vital role in creating and maintaining vibrant outdoor spaces.
2 days per week. Ideally Monday & Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding to keep gardens looking pristine.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
- Implement and manage irrigation systems to ensure plants receive adequate water.
- Assist in planting, transplanting, and caring for a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs.
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases that may affect growth.
- Maintain garden equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement landscaping projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for growing plants and enhancing outdoor spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions.
