Maintenance Operative, Full Time
Viking Landscaping Ltd are looking for an experienced, dedicated, hard working maintenance operative to carry out a variety of maintenance duties, mainly in the construction industry, working on new housing developments.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintenance to Show Homes, Sales Arena’s and new build properties.
- Grass cutting, weeding and spraying to properties and Public Open Spaces.
- Drive work vehicles to/from job sites and supplier locations.
- Load and unload landscaping tools and materials into/from work trucks.
- Interact professionally with clients.
Qualifications and skills:
- 18 years or older
- 1–2 years of experience as a landscaping, maintenance operative, or groundskeeping worker is ideal but not essential.
- Can operate commercial equipment (lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, rotavators).
- Valid CSCS card.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Willing to learn and to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Can work independently and as part of a team environment.
Working hours:
- Full-time, year-round
- Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:30pm
