Role Overview

As Department Senior, at our Highway Garden Centre, you will work as part of the leadership team to improve the commercial performance of your store and to coach and support your team to deliver exceptional customer service and excellent store standards to maximise sales and profitability.
Core duties include:
- Delivering standards set by the leadership team to ensure your customers receive the best possible shopping experience.
- Ensuring compliance with the H&S requirements for the store.
- Assisting the leadership team with sales performance and planning, to improve sales.
Excellent people management skills are key to this role and the ideal candidate would be somebody who has demonstrated leadership skills and is looking to develop them further.
Although the role does not include Duty Management, as part of your development, you will be trained to unlock/lock the store as part of holiday/absence cover.

This role is permanent, 37.5 per week, working flexibly, 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
