Bookends (Christchurch) Ltd is a successful and growing retailer, known for being a multi-award-winning independent high street store and one of the highest-selling third-party merchants in the UK.
We are an ambitious and fast-moving company that takes pride in offering a high standard of training, with opportunities for development and promotion.
We are currently looking for a reliable, capable, and motivated individual to join our friendly team in a dual-role position. The role will be approximately 80% warehouse work and 20% basic administrative tasks, supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking incoming and outgoing deliveries against paperwork
- Preparing and packing outbound packages and pallets
- Ensuring warehouse tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Assisting with basic administrative duties such as data entry, inventory updates, order processing, and downloading some basic reports
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Ability to follow clear written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised and proactive approach
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for admin tasks (training provided)
