Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic encompass taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables during busy periods.
- Experience in guest services with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
