Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable items.
- Demonstrate strong selling techniques, including upselling and cross-selling products.
- Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, online and in-person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers confidently.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or English, are highly desirable for effective customer interaction.
- Proven ability to sell products through persuasive communication and relationship-building techniques.
- Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently.
- A proactive approach to upselling products based on customer needs and preferences.
