We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to the overall sales goals of the store. This role requires strong communication skills, time management abilities, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. The candidate should also have a passion for running or sports.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Stay informed about product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
