Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, frameworks, and fittings according to specifications.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete joinery tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for the transportation and installation of materials.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure project completion.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential.
- Strong skills in fabricating, assembling, and finishing wooden structures.
- Familiarity with electrical installations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Experience in painting and finishing techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of masonry work is a plus.
- Proficiency in using various power tools relevant to the trade.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
