We are recruiting for individuals who are looking for a full time role in homecare and, if like us you are passionate about delivering a high standard of care to ensure our clients can remain at home . and want to join our expanding team, based in and around the following areas:
- Barnsley town centre, Worsbrough and Kendray Monk Bretton, Cudworth, Brierley, Grimethorpe, Darfield.
We offer:
From 12.75 per hour depending on experience.
- Paid travel time
- Mileage paid at 45p per mile.
- Paid DBS
- Paid shadowing and induction training.
- Paid NVQ after completion of successful probation period.
- Care Certificate
- Holiday pay
- Shifts start from 07.00 - 14.00, 1500 - 2130
- Agreed working patterns to be discussed at interview
Role of a carer with Forever Independent :
- Companionship – Being a friendly face & preventing loneliness
- Personal Care – All aspects of personal hygiene
- Medication – Administering medication, collecting prescriptions & providing reminders
- Mealtimes – Preparing meals
- Housekeeping – Keeping their home just the way they like it

Requirements :
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
- A valid driving licence
- A caring attitude and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those you assist.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
