Front of Store Colleague

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team.

The Front of Store Colleague is responsible for monitoring the front of the store to prevent theft, whilst also ensuring that the front of store fixtures are fully stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the front of the store to deter and prevent theft.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front of the store to enhance security.
• Provide excellent customer service by confidently approaching customers in a service-led manner.
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to store management immediately.
• Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment (Security Induction Proforma)
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as the police and centre security.
• Use internal radios to call for support when needed, and utilise any available external radios.
• Working knowledge of store CCTV systems to support surveillance and theft investigation.
• Replenish front of store fixtures with stock brought by other store colleagues.
• Ensure that the front of store area is well-organised and fully stocked at all times.

Requirements:

• Strong observational skills to monitor for theft and suspicious activities.
• Confidence to approach customers and provide assistance without putting oneself or customers in danger.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
• Ability to build relationships with external partners such as the police and centre security.
• Proficiency in using internal and external radios for communication and support.
• Good organisational skills to manage stock replenishment efficiently.

• Confidence to engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure store environment.

· Ability to work collaboratively with other store colleagues and external partners (police/town security etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
