Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position involves engaging with customers, assisting in food preparation, and ensuring that the front of house operations run smoothly.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and assisting any dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables, counters, and drink preparation areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the service period.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest services skills with a passion for delivering excellent hospitality experiences.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike.
- Driving licence not required but transport to and from should be prearranged as not located on a regularly used bus route.
