Job Summary
We are looking for talented writers to research and create engaging written content for our travel guide brand - No Fuss Travel Guides. If you are a keen writer who can create compelling content and would relish the opportunity to work on exciting future travel guides then we’d love to hear from you!
Duties
- Follow our writing brief to ensure you produce consistent and high quality content for our future guidebooks.
- Conduct thorough research online using Google, TripAdvisor, Reddit, YouTube and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of information presented.
- Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Edit and proofread content to maintain clarity, coherence, and grammatical correctness.
- Utilise word processing software efficiently to draft, revise, and finalise documents.
- Engage in creative writing to develop original ideas that resonate with readers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in writing across different genres with travel niche being preferred.
- British English is your first language.
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
- Excellent communication skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous writing work is highly desirable.
- Reliable freelancer who can work to strict deadlines.
Pay & Benefits
- Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle and work schedule.
- Pay is offered per 'POI' (Point of Location) with a set number of words per POI for example 100 words.
- You'll be offered a set number of POI's per task. Once complete and submitted, you'll send us an invoice which is paid within 24 hours.
- There will be opportunities to increase workload and paid hours in future projects.
