About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Forklift Driver / Picker to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideally suited to someone with a background in modular construction, forklift driving and picking who’s proactive, flexible attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts to safely load, unload, and transport materials across site
- General labouring duties including site prep, cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Picking materials accurately and efficiently for production or dispatch
- Supporting modular unit assembly, fit-out, and disassembly as required
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Working as part of a team to meet production and site deadlines
Requirements [ESSENTIAL]
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Full Driving License (no points), must include towing
- CSCS card
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within modular construction
- Experience in picking and material handling
- Good understanding of health and safety on-site
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual work
Need NOT apply if you do not have a CSCS, forklift licence and drivers licence
Desirable
- Previous experience in a modular building yard or offsite construction environment
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in modular construction
- CSCS card
