We are looking for an experienced and motivated forklift truck driver to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

· Attend Daily H&S meetings and carry out safety start-up checks to maintain a safe working environment.
· Follow specific Forklift truck safety regulations while driving and inspecting vehicles.
· Show respect for colleagues, customers, and the environment.

· Support team operations by loading and unloading lorries as required, and ensuring appropriate control of goods receipt paperwork.
· Work collaboratively to ensure stock counts are carried out accurately and timely.

· Ensure correct stock rotation of all products, packaging, and goods to maintain quality standards.
· Use the NAV system accurately and promptly for scanning goods in and out.
Innovation
· Perform vehicle inspections and incoming goods checks efficiently to support smooth operations.
· Maintain accurate and timely completion of all required records.
Integrity
· Uphold honesty and accountability through precise record-keeping and adherence to safety and operational procedures.
What are we looking for?
· Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck License and basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to achieve within 3 months).
· Adaptable and flexible to meet production demands and seasonal fluctuations.
· Good command of English, with strong accuracy and numeracy skills for record-keeping.
· Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative, and quality-focused.
· Team player with a positive approach to collaboration and continuous improvement.
· Food or process manufacturing background is desirable.
Due to the nature of the business, at quieter times of the year you may be required to work in different areas of the business. This will be as and when necessary.

Shift pattern: Monday-Friday 06:15-15:00
Due to the nature of the business and the responsibility of your job role your flexibility to work additional hours, weekends and shifts during seasonal periods may be requested, for the proper performance of your duties. We appreciate your support in helping us meet these demands!
We offer enhanced pay for weekend or overtime work.
