Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Forklift Truck Driver to join the team at our Beaconsfield branch. The successful candidate will be part of a busy yard team picking loads, loading and unloading our vehicles and those of our customers and suppliers. Duties include keeping the yard clean and tidy, maintaining a high standard of presentation and stock rotation. You will also be expected to report any health and safety issues, and to check and defect plant and machinery daily.
The successful candidate will have all the relevant counterbalance licenses and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of a similar role, ideally having experience in a Builders Merchant. They will also be team players with a positive outlook and have a real focus on customer service.
Due to the location of the branch, you will need your own, reliable transport to apply for this role.
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays
Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Salary: £30,198 per year

Requirements
- Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift
- Experience working in a Builders Merchant
- Own, reliable, transport
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Eligible to work in the UK
