Role Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible Football Coach to join the NXT Level Sport & Education Team. You will primarily coach children and young people in primary and secondary schools, supporting players with a wide range of abilities. We are looking for passionate football specialists who are excited to share their knowledge of the game, inspire the next generation, and develop players’ skills both technically and tactically.
While this role is based at Fidelis College, there will also be opportunities to work independently across a variety of local schools and community sites within our network, delivering high-quality football sessions on behalf of NXT Level Sport & Education.

- Plan and deliver engaging football sessions tailored to the age and ability of participants
- Teach the fundamentals of football, developing technical ability, tactical understanding, and confidence

- Act as a positive role model, inspiring players to reach their potential on and off the pitch
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and enjoyment of all participants at all times

Qualifications
- Minimum FA Level 2 in Coaching Football (UEFA C Licence)
- FA Level 3 (UEFA B Licence) desirable
- First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (essential, though training can be provided if not yet held)
- Proven experience coaching children and young people across a range of abilities

- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial discussion about experience and suitability
- Interview (in person or online), including practical coaching scenarios relevant to the role
- Safer recruitment checks: two satisfactory references (including your most recent employer), full employment history with explanations for any gaps, right to work verification, photo ID and proof of address, and qualification checks where applicable
- Enhanced DBS check provided by NXT Level Sport & Education. If you already hold a recent certificate, we will verify it and carry out any additional checks
- Conditional offer issued and confirmed once all checks are satisfactorily completed
- Induction and paid training, covering safeguarding, health and safety, site procedures, and coaching standards
- Uniform issued, access credentials set up, and rota confirmed. You will complete shadow shifts with our Sports Development Officer before sign-off, ensuring you are confident and competent in your role

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
