This role is operating as a self-employed contractor covering work as an Assessor for a large retail client in the UK.

A pre-requisite for this is that all Assessors must be qualified as Environmental Health Practitioners ideally with EHORB registration.

Assessor locations needed are throughout the UK - Leeds - Liverpool - Newcastle - London & the South East of England

The role is responsible for delivering Food Safety Assessments within retail. You will deliver high quality assessments that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.

Through providing effective support you will be responsible for:

Providing your monthly availability for the proposed work.
Plan and manage the work given within the timescales agreed with the client.
To complete Retail assessments in accordance with legal and client driven requirements. To complete audit reports immediately after audit and to submit on the day of the audit.
Ensure any errors on the reports are corrected and updated when requested within 12 hours of the request.
To keep your Line Manager / Lead Auditor appraised of client requests during audits.
Allow Shadow and Witness Audits from the client, the line manager or senior team as required.
To maintain CDP and take on additional training as required when new clients are onboarded.
Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business.

You need to be a qualified as an environmental health practitioner, ideally with EHORB

Full training will be given for these audits.
