The Role
We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor who would enjoy working across both luxury Historic Buxton Crescent Hotel and the quaint Old Hall Hotel. The supervisor shall support the manager and guide the team to exceed guests’ expectations by consistently providing a warm, professional, and efficient 5-star service in the Restaurants & Bars of both Hotels.
Overview of the role
- Responsible for 5-star service for all guests in the Restaurants, ensuring preparation, team briefing and managing service throughout to exceed guest expectations.
- To support the team serving guests and clients drinks and food in the Restaurants, and bars to offer a table service where needed
- To deal with all guest comments or complaints, and revisit training and process to improve ongoing standards.
- To ensure that the food & beverage standards are excellent for guests and consistent at all times.
- To ensure all the team are on shift on time and in correct uniform
- To organise the team on duty, allocating breaks and responsibilities.
- Be responsible for the ordering/requisition of stock on a daily basis where this is required at sufficient levels to ensure shelves are stocked
ESSENTIAL
- Extensive knowledge of Hospitality service standards
- Previous supervisor experience within a Hospitality environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, Efficient, and pro-active
- Previous experience in a service role in delivering 5-star guest service
- High levels of personal presentation and grooming

The Old Hall hotel is reputed to be the oldest hotel in the UK, brimming with charm and full of historic character our guests love. Situated opposite the beautiful Pavilion Gardens and within the vicinity of the famous Buxton Opera House, this is a quirky small friendly hotel which offers warmth working within such a small team.
