Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Waiter / Waitress / Bartender to join our vibrant team. you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Your role will involve not only mixing drinks but also engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service and enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Upsell drinks and food items to maximise sales opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation as required, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A friendly demeanour with excellent guest service skills is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
