Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, employing basic maths skills for transactions.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, adhering to hospitality standards.
- Support team members as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order processing.
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A passion for culinary arts and food preparation is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
