Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. You will play a crucial part in creating a positive dining experience while supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation and maintaining food safety standards.
Duties
- Greet and serve guests promptly, providing menus and information about our menu.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilising upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as required, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle cash and card transactions with basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing.
- Provide assistance to guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast food environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
