Shepley Spring are the UK's leading bottled water manufacturer with over 20 years' experience in production and are proud to remain a family run business to this day.
The company operates in three manufacturing facilities in West Yorkshire and owns several high-speed production lines with the capabilities of producing both still and sparkling water servicing leading retailers such as Morrisons, Lidl, Booker Tesco and Sainsbury through private label and produces the brands Ice Valley® and White Rock® exclusively.
Following a period of impressive growth, the business are looking to strengthen their Production offering to support further expansion and development plans and seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join their team at our new Harrogate site.
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Truck Driver to operate industrial forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and stacking materials within the warehouse or production area. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Specification:
- Safely operate forklift trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, or storage areas using forklifts or other equipment
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
- Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of materials moved.
- Collaborate with other warehouse or production team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times.
Competencies:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred however, we will consider candidates with the right hardworking attitude and a passion for the industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Basic math skills and understanding of measurement units.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Conscientious with excellent time keeping skill set

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
