Flow Wrap Operative

Around Noon Bakery located in Newry has been operating since November 2017 and has experienced significant growth. We are passionate about what we do and have invested significantly in equipment and increased our bakery footprint.

Around Noon Bakery is looking for a Flow Wrap Operative to join The Bakery Team.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wear the correct PPE required for the tasks carried out is always worn.
• Maintain personal hygiene standards, including regular hand washing.
• Adhere to our Food Safety Culture.
• Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Be respectful of all staff.
• Adhere to allergen controls.
• Adhere to company policy / procedures / work instructions.
• Support the Senior management team with company continuous improvement activities.
• Raise any concerns regarding product safety, quality, integrity, or authenticity with line Manager.
• Maintain product traceability throughout the packing & despatch process.
• Site waste is managed and disposed of in line with operational procedures.
• All Health & safety procedures are adhered to in the bakery.
• Personal training and development needs are identified with manager.
• Cleaning is carried out in accordance with the company cleaning instructions.
• Chemicals are handled, diluted, and used at correct concentrations.
• Always maintain the security of the site with respect to external doors.
• Feed Flow Wrapper.
• Check and attach labels.
• Decant Tray Bakes.
• Fill in flow wrapper and dispatch paperwork.
• Trace, packaging, label quality and accuracy.
• Set up Sonic Cutter and cutting tray bakes to required program for customer requirements.
• Any other duties are carried out as appropriate.
• Report any issues or concerns for food safety, authenticity, quality, or legality to a line manager immediately.

Working times -

Day shifts: Sunday to Friday from 06:00 am to completion of shift - 5 days out of 7, to include weekend work!
