Acorn Safety Services is a successful Health, Safety, Fire and Legionella consultancy. We service all business sectors specialising with construction.
Our services include health and safety consultancy services, CDM consultancy, construction site safety inspections, fire risk assessments, legionella risk management and training.
The Fire Risk Assessor / Consultant role fits into the operations department of our Northampton office.
Our offices are located in Northampton at, 24 Chartergate, Quarry Park Close, Moulton Park, Northampton, NN3 6QB.

Full time position with company benefits
You are an experienced Fire Risk Assessor / Consultant. You have excellent site experience and commercial experience and ready to take that next step into management. You are able to help us grow the company.
You will be responsible for providing clear, concise, practical and accurate Fire Risk Assessment advice across the different buildings/properties we are tasked with.
The position is national, and you must be willing to travel with occasional nights away from home. Enhanced DBS is required.
For this role you must have a minimum of NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent.
Membership of IFSM or equivalent is required or willing to apply.
Main Duties
- To provide all clients with the most up to date and accurate advice on a range of Fire Safety topics.
- To carry out Fire Risk Assessments to Clients Properties both commercial and domestic
- To carry out audits of clients Fire & Safety procedures and management systems.
- Compiling of formal policies and procedures for distribution to clients.
- Assistance with the preparation of Risk Assessments, Fire Plans and strategies required by the client
- Carrying out accident investigations when required.
Additional Duties
- Provide the client with any additional information / assistance / documentation that is requested.
- Carry out individual site audits if required and produce a site audit report.
- Carry out any other reasonable request made by the company and / or clients with regard to Fire Assessment activities
Main Responsibilities
- Your main responsibilities are to continually ensure all Fire Safety documentation is fully compliant with current legislation and to ensure you provide the highest level of support for your clients.
- You are responsible for the completion and return of your work to clients within a reasonable timescale (3 days)
- To portray a professional image at all times throughout the course of your duties

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
