Financial Planning Administrator
Job Description
This is a busy and varied role that requires excellent attention to detail along with great client service skills. Ideally you will have experience in the financial services sector, as this position could be your first step into a successful career with a leading Global IFA providing advice for clients across the UK, USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Skybound Wealth have a policy of sponsoring all staff through relevant qualifications and promoting from within. The Financial Planning Administrator role is designed to progress the successful candidate into a qualified Paraplanner or a Financial Advisor if that is a path you wish to choose.
This specific position will focus on supporting our Europe Team. This focuses on supporting our Financial Advisors who operate from our offices in Europe, between London, Geneva and Nicosia.
Key Duties:
Maintaining and chasing the new business pipeline to ensure swift activation of policies, which involves liaising with providers, clients and advisers for relevant updates
Assisting with processing applications for pensions, regular contribution and lump sum savings
Supporting advisers and their clients with provision of policy valuations
Running reports on investment proposals using FE Analytics
Preparing review packs for upcoming client meetings
Checking the compliance and completeness of new business or top-up cases with advisers, before submission to the provider
Contacting financial providers, trustees and pension schemes
Liaising with clients and advisers by email, letter or telephone
Placing trades and dealing instructions via investment provider online portals
Updating and maintaining our in-house and back-office systems, namely Salesforce and Plume
Managing and handling incoming correspondence, including provider documentation and email notices
Desired Skills and Experience:
Good IT Skills – an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office
Excellent Communication Skills – friendly and confident both verbally and written
A good problem solver with the ability to negotiate and encourage at a benefit to the company
Highly organised – manage workload, motivated and able to take on responsibility for your role
A desire to pursue a career in the Financial Services Industry in the future if not already and work towards a Level 4 Diploma qualification with CII or CISI
You Will Benefit From:
£26,000 salary per annum, increasing upon completion of probation
A percentage bonus/commission from all cases that you work on, upon completion of probation
Sponsorship through all industry examinations e.g. Level 4 Diploma via the CII or CISI
