We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial & Office Assistant who has strong execution skills and a solid understanding of financial data. This part-time role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in finance-related data processing and office administration, seeking a stable and long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities
Invoice Management: Accurately and efficiently handle shipping company invoices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Financial Data Analysis: Apply financial principles to analyse data, identify trends and discrepancies, and offer cost-saving recommendations.
Financial Reporting: Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial reports, and provide insight into the company's financial health.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce accurate financial forecasts and support strategic planning.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve financial and invoice handling workflows to enhance efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Compliance & Tax: Stay updated on relevant tax and industry regulations to ensure compliance in financial reporting.
Skills
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
- Manage data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain organised filing systems for financial records and documents.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, assisting as needed.
- Support the finance team with clerical duties, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Utilise Google Suite for document creation and collaboration.
- Process invoices and assist with bookkeeping using Quick Booksy
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
