Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in analysing operational and financial data to drive performance improvements across the business. Working closely with operational managers and the finance team, you will help maximise revenue, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making through insightful reporting and analysis.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyse daily production data to ensure accuracy and reflect actual performance.
- Compare operational performance against standards and profitability targets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Deliver timely and insightful weekly reports to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with General Managers and Operations Managers to interpret data and drive improvements in performance and profitability.
- Use Qlik and Excel to develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Finance Business Partner and Management Accountants on key revenue and cost issues.
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
What You'll Bring
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence tools
- Experience in an operational, planning, or finance role
- Knowledge of Prophet and Qlik (desirable)
