About the role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial insight and performance support across our Trading, Sales, Operations, and Inventory functions. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with business leaders to drive profitability, enhance decision-making, and deliver meaningful financial analysis that supports long-term growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead financial planning and performance management across Trading, Sales, Operations, and Inventory.
- Prepare monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, ensuring they align with business objectives and market trends.
- Support the creation of our 5-year strategic financial plan, working cross-functionally to produce robust, data-driven projections.
- Perform detailed scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform commercial strategies and investment decisions.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to monitor live asset sales, cost profiles, and inventory valuation.
- Provide clear variance analysis, performance commentary, and actionable insights for month-end reporting and board materials.
- Champion financial literacy across the business, helping stakeholders make data-informed decisions.
- Maintain project performance reporting and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- A professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA) preferred.
- Experience in a Finance Business Partner role
- Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Strong ERP skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools.
- Commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-financial audiences.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a drive for process improvement.
