Finance Assistant

Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be working exclusively with an organisation in the third sector to recruit a Finance Assistant (Sales Ledger) on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in Aberdeen City Centre, the business offers a flexible hybrid model. Reporting into the Transactional Finance Lead, this role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely management of the sales ledger, invoicing, and credit control.

The Opportunity

• Generate and process customer invoices in line with company policies
• Ensure proper authorisation and resolve any discrepancies proactively
• Maintain comprehensive records of invoicing activity and supporting documents
• Manage credit control, following up outstanding debts while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
• Support wider finance processes, contributing to the smooth running of the transactional finance function

Background and Experience
We are looking to speak to graduates, school leavers and others looking for an entry level finance role where full training will be provided in a supportive environment.
