We would like you to come and be part of our small and friendly Golf Club.
Established in 1884, Southwold is a traditional club with over 400 playing and social members, and in a beautiful location.
We are looking for someone who is organised and efficient, with a pleasant disposition and the ability to be welcoming to members and visitors to the club.
· 20 hours per week Mon to Fri, on site. Some flexibility, but mornings preferable
· Free parking
· Competitive hourly rate (minimum £15/ hour), to be agreed, dependant on skills and experience.
· Reporting to SGC Secretary
· Training and ongoing support will be provided.
· Processing purchasing invoices and making payments
· Use of Xero Accounting Software (experience would be an advantage, though training would be provided)
· Supporting the Treasurer & Secretary with accounts, Membership subscriptions and monthly Management Accounts
· Reconciling Control Account
· Supporting Payroll, pension and HR actions
· Analysis of the day-to-day golf management control systems
· Dealing with member and visitor enquiries, by phone or in person
· Supporting the Club Secretary in the management of the Club Website and social media accounts
· Experience of Microsoft Office is essential, particularly Excel and Word
· IT and social media literacy
· Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay: £15.00 per hour
