The appointee will adhere to the Standard Operating Guidelines for provision of cardiopulmonary organ retrieval services. This means conducting DBD isolated heart or lung organ retrievals independently and assisting in DBD split organs retrievals and DCD organs retrievals in conjunction with other surgeons as part of the Birmingham cardiopulmonary NORS team.
