This is a great opportunity for someone that would like to get into the world of farming / maintenance. We are looking for someone that is hard working, enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills. The job involves working on a Poultry Farm where you would be assisting in fixing and maintaining certain aspects of the poultry houses. To start you would work on the farm, learning how all the machines and packers work to be able to go on and learn how to fix them. You would also start by working in the poultry houses learning how to look after and maintain the chickens to enable you to have an understanding of how everything works and what is required.
At times you will be working in a dusty and dirty environment.
Weekend work is required on a rota basis.
There will be loads of training provided by other members of the farm and maintenance team who are highly qualified. There will also be opportunities for progression and Performance based pay rises available.
Pay is NMW as of 1st April 2025
