ABOUT THE ROLE
Ensure that all the Facilities equipment and infrastructure are maintained, repaired and serviced to the highest possible standards throughout the site to enable the organisation to achieve its objectives and strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all the policies and procedures are followed, this includes completing records and documentation where required.
- Maintain the operation of the building on a day-to-day basis
- Conduct walk-through of buildings and facilities to ensure that maintenance levels are being properly maintained.
- Conduct audits to ensure that all the regulatory documentation is up to date and compliant i.e. Heating System services, fire Alarm maintenance, etc.
- Assist in the selection and purchases of any equipment associated to the Facilities infrastructure (including raising the relevant paperwork i.e. Purchase orders and GRN’s)
- Resolve concerns and problems, ensuring services are provided in a professional and safe manner.
- Conduct repairs to facilities equipment and infrastructure where and when required
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where necessary.
- To maintain a professional image of the company at all times, demonstrating a can-do approach to both colleagues and customers
- Ensure that safe working conditions and practices are maintained in line with the Health & Safety at Work Legislation.
- Anticipate and act on any potential hazards by initiating and progressing any remedial measures required.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Company.
