We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our facilities team on a temporary, fixed-term contract for 2/3 months. This role is to cover a long-term absence and is not a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including repairs and troubleshooting on site equipment and infrastructure.
- Confident use of hand and power tools for a variety of tasks.
- Perform manual handling duties as required.
- Work safely and effectively at height, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in waste management activities, ensuring proper disposal and recycling processes are followed.
- Conduct Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) checks using provided checklists to ensure ongoing compliance and smooth operation.
Desirable Additional Skills
- Experience operating a forklift (valid license preferred).
- IPAF license for mobile elevated work platforms or banksman training
- Solid Health & Safety awareness, including COSHH, Fire Safety Awareness, permits, and contractor management.
- Utilise Microsoft Outlook and Excel for logging tasks, communication, and record-keeping.

- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks.
