Hours - 37.5 hours per week, weekly rotating shifts 6am - 2pm/ 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am

A government company which plans, designs, builds, operates and maintains England’s motorways and major roads are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join their team based in Quinton.
You will be required to carry out general repairs to the site, set up rooms, communicate with suppliers, be first point of contact for visitors and main all aspects of administration using the inhouse computer system.
The duties of the Facilities Assistant will include:
· Maintaining all aspects of the sites computerised management system
· Communication with suppliers via email and telephone
· Opening, logging, authorisation and updating of all tasks with the required documentation
· First point of call for visitors attending the site
· Conducting site walk arounds and logging findings
· Prepare and process paperwork for engineers attending site
· General maintenance to both buildings and grounds
· Sweeping, cleaning, waste management, stocking of tea stations and toilet facilities, monitoring and maintaining the stationery and winter gritting
· Undertake and facilitate the site infrastructure maintenance and repairs
We are looking for a Facilities Assistant with:
· Strong administrative skills
· Good understanding of health and safety and COSHH
· Knowledge and ability to undertake basic building maintenance, handyperson and security duties
· Experience within a similar role
