RAF-4038 – FABRICATOR / WELDER - UNITECH WASHING SYSTEMS LTD

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will be to TIG weld stainless steel fabrications.
The hours of work for this shift are - Monday – Thursday – 07.15 – 16.00 hours & Friday - 07.15 – 14.15 hours.
Main duties involved in the role are as follows:
- Fabricate and assemble industrial washing systems.
- Welding from 1.2 mm to 20mm in thickness.
- Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications.
- Maintain equipment in a safe, clean and good working order.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and requirements within your skill set and experience.
Skills and Experience:
- Possess a good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Be capable of welding thin gauge mild stainless steel including fitting and assembling experience.
- Ability to work within a team or on your own.
- Experience of working on a shop-floor environment.
- Being able to use your own initiative to solve problems.
- Have an attention to detail and quality.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude.
