Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and adhere to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in assembling and fabricating components that meet our specifications.
Working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 07:25 - 15:55pm & Friday 07:30 - 13:30
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various welding and fabrication tasks.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, applying mechanical knowledge as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, particularly with structural steel, is essential.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques, including MIG welding, is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret technical drawings are required.
- Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations are necessary.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively is essential.
- A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work is crucial.
