Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team producing refrigerated cabinets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various fabrication processes. This role involves working with sheet metal and other materials to create high-quality products while ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications.
The role also includes use of the laser cutting machine
Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Perform fabrication tasks including assembly, and finishing of metal products.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques, especially in sheet metal work.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
