This is a new and exciting role within Leatherhead BBMC . We already have existing Direct to Garment print capabilities that can be developed further and are now expanding into a new business stream to provide embroidered products both commercially and also to our internal divisions within the organisation whilst also providing ongoing employment.
BBMC Leatherhead employs 23 people, 13 of them are adults with range of learning and physical disabilities. We anticipate that many of the team, will be involved in some way with this new business stream and the job role will involve delivering training.
BBMC Leatherhead is a thriving print and design studio, providing all manner of printed materials to customers across the UK. It has already successfully expanded into printed fabric items for private and commercial buyers and sees this new venture as an organic expansion to its business.
This role will oversee the new embroidery department in BBMC Leatherhead, along with the existing Direct to Garment and Sewing production lines. Working with the management team you will develop and manufacture products to sell commercially as well as supplying internal divisions of the organisation such as Fundraising and Retail. You will also to create and deliver a training programme to upskill the team.
You will have a good knowledge of embroidery and fabric printing processes and the associated machinery used to produce these garments at a commercial level.
