Purpose of the role:
- To safely operate the manoeuvre of production materials.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all FLT/Tractor checks are completed daily and accurately.
- Reporting all FLT/Tractor defects.
- Ensuring all product is stacked in accordance with the Company’s H&S guidelines.
- Ensuring all product is moved around the site in accordance with Company H&S procedure.
- Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards and ensuring procedures are always followed.
- Ensuring adherence to company quality systems.
- Developing and maintaining a robust housekeeping approach.
- Identify problems and issues and report to the Shift Supervisor.
Person Specification:
- Flexible attitude to working hours.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal).
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience of working within a production environment, essential.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment, essential.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Combi Licence essential.
Special Factors:
Hours of work follow the continental shift pattern of 2-day shifts and 2-night shifts, 7-7, followed by 4 days off. This includes weekend working, and bank holidays are not recognized.
