Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with menu selections, including upselling specials and promotions.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout service.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a must and experienced
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
