Job Description:
As an Experienced Removal Man, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transportation, and unloading of furniture and personal belongings. You will work closely with clients, ensuring that their items are handled with care and that they have a positive moving experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and personal belongings onto and off removal vans.
- Securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Transport items to their destination, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate professionally with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
- Work as part of a team to complete moves efficiently.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a removal man or in a similar role.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
- A valid driving license (HGV class 2 license is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
