We are a small, friendly, independent family run Jewellers, with over 221 years experience in the trade. As well as selling beautiful jewellery, watches and gifts we also provide a jewellery repair and alteration service. We pride ourselves on offering a personal touch and first class customer service.
We are looking for a well presented, experienced, Jewellery sales assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, but this must include every Friday and Saturday plus holiday cover when required. Experience in the Jewellery trade is must, with a proven track record of high levels of customer service. Handling precious items, you will need to be vigilant and committed to offer exceptional customer service.
Main duties of the role will include:
Selling jewellery, watches and gifts.
Booking in jewellery and watch repairs.
Able to work under pressure during busy periods.
Knowledge of buying in gold and precious metals. (Additional training available)
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Taking care of the stock, by cleaning/re-dressing, pricing and House keeping duties etc.
Excellent communication/ customer service skills are essential to this role.
Professionally represent the company at all times.
Work together as a team within store.
Please note we operate a working lunch policy.
Not required to work Sundays or Bank Holidays.
