Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic gardener to join our team.
The ideal candidate possesses strong horticultural knowledge and a genuine passion for crafting beautiful outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include planting, pruning, fertilising, weeding, and various landscaping tasks to maintain customers’ grounds. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Plant, cultivate, and maintain gardens and grounds.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Water plants and lawns as needed.
- Identify and control weeds, pests, and diseases.
- Prune shrubs and trees as needed.
- Mulch gardens and flower beds.
- Perform general landscape maintenance.
- Prioritising tasks
- Communicating effectively with clients
- Supervise and manage assistant gardeners, providing support and guidance as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of gardening experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient use of common gardening tools
- In depth knowledge of plants and a good understanding of horticulture
- Strong organizational skills
- Driving licence
PPE and Full Uniform are provided, immediate start available.
Salary is dependant on experience.
