Position: Experienced Foundry Induction Furnace Operator - Melter
Salary: £12.98 - £16.34 ph (dependent on experience)
Hours: 6am – 2:00pm, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Permanent
The successful candidate will be capable of:
- Using a coreless induction furnace, preferably in a steel foundry
- Hand charging furnaces
- Relining furnaces
- Weighing and calculating melt charges
- Repairing refractory materials
Other valued criteria include:
- Strong work ethic
- Working knowledge of health & safety and good housekeeping
- A good understanding of English both written and spoken
Licence/Certification
FLT and overhead crane Licence (preferred)
