We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter with general construction experience to join our growing team. This role involves working on a range of construction and refurbishment projects across the UK. Candidates must be willing and able to work away from home, with accommodation and travel expenses covered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform all aspects of carpentry, including first and second fix
* Install doors, skirting, flooring, and frameworks
* Assist with general construction duties as needed (e.g. groundwork, basic joinery, site prep)
* Interpret technical drawings and plans
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety
* Collaborate with other trades on-site
* Work as part of a team
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 3 years preferred)
* Solid experience in general construction work
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools and PPE
* Flexibility to travel and stay away from home as required
