Position: Experienced Barista **MUST be able to perform latte art to a High standard.
Sugar Junction is on the look out for an enthusiastic and passionate full time Barista to join our friendly team in Manchester City Centre.
We are a unique rustic/ vintage tearoom situated within Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter. We serve specialist coffee, tea, beer and cocktails.
We strive to create a warm and vibrant atmosphere and space for our customers to enjoy their experience with us. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, friendly individual with an eye for detail, a passion for coffee and cocktails, and who has the ability to use their initiative when required to maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
What we are looking for:
- Previous barista experience with excellent interactive customer service.
- Reliable and able to work well in a team setting
- Must be proficient in latte art (please do not apply if you are not able to do this to a high standard)
- Must be willing to learn how to create cocktails and be creative.
- An interest in speciality coffee
- Strong independent team player, warm and welcoming positive person.
- Weekend availability a must
- Ability to seek out tasks during quieter periods
- Seek to maintain a clean cafe environment
