Avon and Somerset Constabulary is seeking a dedicated Executive Support Volunteer to assist our leadership team with vital administrative and coordination tasks.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing administrative assistance, event coordination, and visitor support. Ideally, you will be able to offer at least six hours per week during the daytime on weekdays.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Chaperoning guests at Police HQ, serving as their initial point of contact, guiding them through the site, and ensuring a warm welcome.
- Performing administrative tasks associated with event and meeting arrangements, including attendee management, equipment organisation, and hospitality booking, as necessary.
- Utilising internet-based research to source items and services for ad hoc events, liaising with suppliers and external organisations, as needed.
- Composing letters, emails, and other correspondence to facilitate the above tasks.
